Hi everyone, I worked at a daycare for 11 years and was fired for giving a baby the wrong bottle. I know...terrible. I was totally burned out after 11 years and over tired but that is no excuse. I am lucky enough to get unemployment but still looking around for work. I have applied to many day cares, libraries and nursing homes. I find I like service work, that gives me the most satisfaction and makes me feel good about my life.

I am afraid that the daycare I got fired from is telling these places I apply at the reason I got fired and would not blame them for not hiring me.

Then again I am enjoying being "retired" lucky enough to be able to stay home with my husband. Nice to meet everyone.
