Hi All,
I just found this forum- what a treat! Excited to join the group
I've been operating an in-home daycare for 1.5 years and am very lucky to live in a trendy urban neighborhood with lots of young children and virtually no childcare options.
I have considered opening a small center (maybe based in, but not affiliated with a church?), due to the high demand for infant care in my area. I'm hesitant, though, because the cost of renting the space and hiring an employee, minus the tax benefits from running an in-home business doesn't seem to make financial sense.
Does anyone have experience transitioning from in-home to center? Any advise?
