Ticks!!!

Remember my daycare dad who claimed that Neem oils smells like Pot?

Well, he also said his dog had mites. (they live exactly two streets behind me.. I can hear them when they are loud, so they are close)

Anyway.... we started noticing ticks here, then I found out that his dog had ticks, and not mites. (not sure which is better)

Could the ticks be coming from their house? Or do you think they just spread all over a neighborhood? Are ticks hard to get rid of? Can we just treat the dogs? Or do we need to treat the house?

And.... BTW, Neem oil DOES smell like Pot!!!

Ticks are very prevalant in the fall.....it's breeding season. Yes, they could be coming from the family.....or from your yard if a neighbor dog has ticks or fleas even.

Treat your animals with Frontline...you can order through petmeds.com

Using that will prevent them on your pets AND repel them from your yard.

In the meantime, vacuum thoroughly daily and consider, if you can do it safely, spraying or seven dusting your yard.
