    Asking For My Payment Update

So I called new DCM about my payment for the First of the month, She said, I already payed for the month of Aug.

So I said to her, yes but it is Sept now and I require payments to be made the first of the month.

She said oh I will pay you for September at the end of the month, Thats the way she did it at the other dayhome.

    Like Hell you will!! Sorry.

I told her no I need to be paid tomorrow.

She then proceeds to tell me that dcb will only be at my house for 1 hour after school on tuesdays so she is only paying me $5 for the day.
UUMMM $30 a day for B&A school kids dont apply for you?

Thats fine i will just fill his spot with a new child.

    SOME PEOPLE.

Oh good, so you decided to term! "I'm not the other provider. I get paid in advance. My rate is my rate, and it is non negotiable. I am sorry for the misunderstanding, but I will no longer accept a child into care without full payment."

So did you tell her that paying at the end of the month isn't going to fly and that your rate is not up for negotiation?

Sounds to me like the mom that will continue showing up at your house in hopes you'll let her in rather than turn her away.

Did she sign a contract? Does that say when payment is due?

Yup my contract states every fee and when it is due. she obviously did not read it.

She paid me this morning, and dcb will still be coming on other days that he doesnt have school.

Tuesdays is when she will only pay me for the hour, so im gonna find another child for his spot during the day.

Go for it! It is not worth your time for this silly mother who doesn't read your contract. Parents!
