I show almost all of my house and property.

I do show almost my entire home to prospective clients because I tend to use almost every part of my home for DC. I do not show one of our bedrooms because my fincee's brother rent's from us and I feel like it is an invasion of his provacy. The door is always kept closed however with a doorknob lock while he is home and we he isn't he locks his door as I have suggested. The other room I do not show is my garage because even though I store seasonal toys and other supplies in there we do not use it as a part of DC activities. I explain this to parents and show them the doorknob locks and how the garage has a flap-lock also that is out of reach. I do show my bedroom and my little girls bedrrom because my little girl's bedroom is open for play for all of the children. My bedroom I use in cases when a child has gotten sick and needs to be kept seperate from the other children. I lay them down in there and put a video on for them until they get picked up. Ultimately it's up to you but I like to use as much of my time-percentage as I can for my taxes.

I always want everyone to meet my entire family and husband. My husband is my back up in case of appts. etc. so everyone meets him. SOmetimes my own children act up though, and I feel like having them elsewhere, but I never do that.

I too like my perspective clients to meet my family. My 14 yr old daughter is my helper, and my 5 yr old son is part of the crowd. I love it when they're able to meet my husband too, though that doesn't always work. I had one family that was here for over two months before they met him. He's a "freight relocation specialist" and is gone for weeks (usually not more) at a time.
Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back.
