    Last Day Here Report?

    Hi Ladies,
I am looking for some help.

I occassionally throughout the year like to send home a simple report just to mention accomplishments while here, favorites, etc.

It's DCB #1's final day today, and I would like to do a little report to send home, and also include a small section on bottom to state that if they are ever in need again, dcb is welcome to come back if there is space. Sort of like they do on the job applications etc, where they just mark a box saying rehire or not eligible for rehire.

Any suggestions? Does anyone have a form/report that you are willing to share? Or any ideas?

I don't want anything lengthy, just a simple put Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide care for your child.

i ended up just writing a little note saying that when he started he wasn't even 1 yr old yet, but has grown tremendously, how he makes us laugh, and always makes a silly face. how he is welcome to come back for a visit anytime, and that should they require daycare in the future that he is welcome back.

I think what you are thinking of doing sounds wonderful and I only wish I had thought of that yesterday! My angel dcg's last day was yesterday, as she's going off to kindy. I still have her younger sister so I'm sure I'll see her and maybe even have the ability to care for her on non-school days, but boy I'm going to miss her and thought about what I could do to say good-bye. Couldn't think of anything so I just gave her a hug and bit back the tears.

I like what you wrote on the note, and I'm going to keep that in mind in the future! So even though you didn't get any advice, just know that you helped me out!

They only come 3 days a week (not here today), so I'm thinking of writing one up for Tuesday when she comes next. This is the perfect daycare family and I will be so depressed when they all leave for good.
