I just cannot fathom the ignorance of these parents. Having seen my own daughter near death from dehydration during an illness when she was 5 and seeing her body begin to shut down tells me that they KNEW he was dying and did nothing to stop it. They should die a long, slow, painful death, IMO.

Thankfully for that poor boy death by dehydration is actually a fairly benign way to pass, as is known by hospice workers. The process results in ketosis which can actually leave the body with a feeling of serenity and well-being. It's a common process for those with cancer, as I experienced with the passing of my uncle last year.

It's too good for those parents.
