You All Were Right!

For 6 months now I've been advertising for spots for my daycare. I've only had my own 2 kids and the one family I had since before I was licensed. Now my DD and one of the girls from the family are leaving for kindy and I was starting to panic.

Wouldn't you know it, as you all predicted it would in August, I am almost full now! I was able to get one infant in the mornings and 2 infants in the afternoon, both adding up to more than what I would charge for a full-time slot. I have a 2 year old now, and a four year old. It's crazy!

Thanks for all the advice, if it wasn't for this forum, I may not have held on for so long!

How old are all your infants and what times do they come? That is awesome you could overlap part time days? Do all your kids come 5 days a week?

The one in the morning comes at 9 and leaves at 12:15, 12:30. He's six months and his mom goes to the technical school that's right by my house so I'm not worried about late pick-ups.

Then I will have twins who are 3 months old coming between 12:30 and 1:00 until 5pm. The mother works at Social Services with my licensor, so I've basically got a perfect client who gets how daycare works! I'm very happy about this!

The morning infant will come four days a week and the twins will come 5 days a week.
