Look What My Mom Dropped Off!

It's about 15-20 lbs of pears from one tree she has in her yard. I need pear recipes!

Wash, peel, 1/2 thick slice, grill. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Yum!

Personally I would wash and eat, or perhaps wash, slice and eat.

      You could try this website
Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back.

Do pears freeze well? If so I would wash them, peel them, slice them, and freeze them. Then you can serve them for snack all winter long. Yum!
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

I've frozen them before and used them for pear crisps.

also..if you like making jelly, plum pear jelly is my absolute favorite! or pear honey butter. Mmmmm

The link that GretasLittleFriends posted has a super easy looking cinnamon pear sauce recipe. All the ones I saw earlier wanted me to use a food mill or special attachment for a KitchenAid mixer (something I don't have). I'm totally doing pear sauce.

I need to go get more canning supplies. DH dropped my storage box and shattered all my containers.
