    Arrival and Departure Times

I am thinking about having a set pick up and drop off time (ie. drop off no later than 9am and pick up no earlier than 3 or before 1). Does anyone else do this?

No, but it would make everything so much easier... I actually would like all children dropped at 8:00 a.m. and picked up at 3:00 p.m. Wouldn't that be nice?

I don't allow drop offs after 9am and I don't allow pick ups during meal or nap time (12pm-3pm). I make some exceptions, depending on the circumstance, but my parents generally always drop off and pick up at the same times and give plenty of notice when they want me to accomodate a change.

I don't care what a parent does as long as it is consistent from day to day. My dropoffs are from 7:45 to 9 and pickups from 5:15 to 5:30. I have one family that comes and goes randomly but I require that she keep me updated on a daily basis with texts otherwise she might accidentally get locked out of the house for the day. This works for me. I only have that one family but I would never do that for all the families. Also, whenever this one kid gets here, they immediately have to do whatever we are doing. She goes down at our regular nap times, eats when we do,etc. I don't change anything for her.

I don't allow drop offs after 9am unless they arrange it in advance. I allow pickups whenever but if they are before 4pm I ask the parents to tell me in advance. We might not be here or I may not here the door after 9am and before 4pm. It's locked between those hours.

Only rules I have to drop off/pick up, is Breakfast is 8:00-8:30, if your here at 8:35,you wait until lunch. No pick ups from 1:00-3:30, naptime, unless for dr appt or emergency.

I live in and HOA and it's not a very big street that I live on. I really don't want a lot of cars parked in front of my house at the same time or creating any issues for any of my neighbors. For this reason, I work only on contracted hours and have each famliy time stagger. so no one is here picking up at the same time and dropping off at the same time...

I think that it might be a nightmare if they did. I could not imagine all of the parents trying to ask me questions at the same time...One of me and 8 of them....no way...

I do not have a set drop off and/or pick up time but I don't take kids that need care after 9:30. I charge daily and weekly rates and most parents want their money's worth.
