What do you do when the kids have contagious crying? I have a 2 year old that is back after spending all summer with her (teacher) mom. She's having a rough day. I just told her not to put toys in her mouth, and it caused a huge meltdown. Once she started crying, so did 2 other girls. I think it's going to be a long week!

I had this problem a few weeks ago. Every time anyone would cry, my little 7 month old boy would cry even louder... like its contagious! I basically just didnt respond to him when he'd do that. I wouldn't pick him up and coddle him... I'd just say "your ok" and turn around ~ turn my back to him basically ~ and after a week, he stopped doing that. I feel your pain... when one cries and then another & another chime in, its awful!
