So I found this wonderful baby changing station on craigslist recently which is just perfect for me! I've always wanted a three-drawer changing table so I can "hide" all the diapers/clothes/wipes, yet be organized. I'm also one to only buy really good quality items and save for them. I paid $125 for a custom already-made changing table which is heavy and all great quality with an edging on the top for the pad to stay put. It's medium oak in color.....
So, I had to talk my husband into letting me get it since it's higher priced and an hour out of town. We drove down (after measuring our trunk) to pick it up. We put all the drawers in the back seat and then put the frame into the trunk. One problem, it didn't fit-by like an inch!
OMG I thought this ****s, seriously, that is all I could think of! I said I still wanted it and would make other arrangements and just the whole situation was awkward. My husband wasn't mad that we drove all that way, but I kind of was. Now today I'm going back with a friend with a truck to get it. UGH, I just had to share my funny yet frustating story.
