Car Seat Tech?

Is someone on here a certified car seat tech? I have a question I'd like to ask you It's nothing urgent, just something that came up and I was wondering about it. I know our local PD has one, but I thought I'd try here first instead of the PD thinking I'm a crazy lady!

Oh, don't think that, they would love to help!!!
They see so many tragedies over improperly installed car seats or no car seats.
They can probably help better because they can actually "see" what you are talking about.

Don't hesitate to contact them. That's what they're there for. I want to be a tech but my class got canceled b/c only 2 people signed up. I'll reschedule once I have the baby.

You can try posting at www.car-seat.org . Lots of techs there.

If you do go to the PD, make sure you're talking to an actual tech. The PD installed my daughter's infant bucket seat backwards when we went there.
