      I actually have soething like this for my puppets but we end up using each layer as a basket vs using the shoe holders to hold each puppet. Mine was from walmart and has a little heavier base on it so it doesn't tip over.

      Best $15 I ever spent because the kids can see the puppets that are out without dumping the whole basket that we used to keep the in.

          We use it for shoes. Novel idea I know but it works wonderfully by the door. The kids automatically come in and take their shoes off to put there. Even the littlest ones. Mittens and hats dry on it in winter and it takes very little floor space. They call it the shoe tree.
          I see little people.

              and they DO tend to just throw them in there like a shelf, but whatever..as long as theyre up off the floor i dont care!::

                I use one of those flat shoe racks for our hats and mittens in the winter because I can set it on the floor of our entry right in front of the heater and everything gets dry while we're inside for lunch and naptime and then it's ready for afternoon play outside.
