    Can I Just Say.....

I absolutely ADORE my daycare family. Only have one right now for first shift. The 2 dcg's are so sweet, I get paid on time EVERY TIME, and more. The older girl is going off to kindy in a month and I swear, I'm going to miss her more than my own DD! Simply because I get to see my DD after school, but I won't see dcg anymore.

And as if they aren't already perfect, I just got a text from dcm telling me to sleep in tomorrow because they're going to go do something special with the girls and will drop off a little bit later. Since they're my only ones I don't mind the late drop off. Whoo hoo! More sleep!

We vent a lot here (which is awesome too), but I thought I'd gush a little bit.

set up some play dates and keep in touch with them. they sound really special. i love my current families and know it will be really hard to let them go when i return to work (thats going to be a few years but still!)

That's what makes our jobs worth it.

I really loved my last group of parents. I never had a problem with payment, days off if I needed them. They all brought me little gifts from time to time. I keep in touch with 2 of the moms, 5 yrs later. Sadly, not the third.

I absolutely love the 2 families that I have now as they are both my daughters. Pay is iffy, hours are iffy, # of people at the dinner table is iffy, but what can you say?
