I have called ads in the paper to find out what the going rate in the area is. I just normally call and ask about the child care and what the rate is. They don't normally ask anything from me, so I say thank you and hang up.

I'm not trying to under cut someone, I don't want people that want to pay bottom dollar for their kids care. But I don't want to be so high no one will use me or too low.
