So What Would You Do With Your Day?

This is so bizarre to me. I have one kid today. One. He's 2. Well, I have my 8 week old also. My DD is at her grandparents', one of my other dcks is on vacation. I'll only have 2 kids tomorrow and 2 Thursday...unless one doesn't come this week which is possible.

I really don't want to sit in the playroom watching him play all day...so what would you do?

Go for a walk, head to the park or library. Have a picnic or enjoy some story time. Go to a museum or somewhere similar.

Whatever you decide to do, enjoy yourself.....sometimes those downtimes are the best times. Kind of like mini vacations....

I have one like that. I usually have the summer off but due to unforseen circumstances this year I'm working and only have one. When we were having the real yucky weather we couldn't really go outside so yes we just sat in the childcare room all day long.

Can you transport and maybe take him to the park or somewhere? We haven't been able to do that so we mainly go outside and play but makes for a really, really long day.

Grab a good book and curl up in a chair. Let the little one play and do his own thing.

I don't know what I would do if I had such low numbers but I'll tell you what I wouldn't do ... I wouldn't do my hair, make-up or nails ::.

Okay sorry. I guess I still havn't gotten it out of my system.

In all seriousness (is that even a word :confused I would relax with the kiddos and just take it easy and let the calmness just soak in. It's not everyday that you get a peacefull day of relaxation during DC hours.

Transport is out, sadly...we only have one car.

I guess I'm digging this relaxing idea. Or maybe I'll embark on a massive rearrange of the naproom and laundry room. Those are both just off the playroom so I don't feel bad working on them while he's playing.
