I am looking for a letter to a few parents to let them know that I won't be able to take their school agers back this upcoming fall. I am doing this for a few reasons...one, their kids drove me nuts last year! Haha! And I also have offered Before & afterschool care for several years and find it hard to split my time with them and the little ones and quite honestly, financially I need to fill my available slots with full time kids! The issue is I will be keeping a set of 8 yr old twins who I've had since they were a year old and these other families will find this out. I don't know how to word the letter and have a tendency to say tooooo much!!!

After much thought and consideration I have decided that I will no longer offer before and after school care. Our school district offers a fabulous school age program, Kidsplay (or whatever). If you are interested in that program the number is _________.

I blamed it on licensing. I have to have an additional rider for SA on my lic. I just told them.
However like the previous poster, I would just say after much thought and consideration you've decided to focus on infant and toddler and discontinue your school age care.Comment
