I'm not sure I would be comfortable showing them our bedroom. It seems a little too personal. They would have seen my entire house if they walk upstairs, besides the unfinished basement.

How much do you show? What do you feel crosses the line?
I show my entire downstairs and sometimes the upstairs if requested. I never show my bedroom as I feel it is my 1 and only private area! Crossing the line is entry to my bedroom.

I have had parents treat themselves to a tour of my home including my bedroom when a couple dif time they wanted to use the restroom upstairs. When I caught them and asked why they are in my room or peeking in my room they said... "Oh I just had to take a peek and see what your decor was like, hee hee" and another time "Oh I thought that might be another play area" I have now denied parents access to my restroom after hearing 1 going through my medicine cabinet and open my squeaky towel cabinet.

The inspector/monitor has gone through my entire home as expected though. He just peeked into my room however.
