    it funny, i've been thinking... What do i do in the winter? It's just as long, even longer? Hmmmmmmm gets me thinking what winter will be like!

      Yeah, but we don't "expect" to be able to be out much in winter. And the kids don't expect it either! Kids are use to being able to play outdoors in the summer.

      BTW, are actually temp this week is not below 104, with heat index of 112-114!

          Same here! Here it hasn't been under a 100 degrees for at least a month. Yesterday we hit 113 degrees. I ended up not working Monday because I went to a pool party on Sunday and ended up dehydrated and had some heat exhaustion. It's horrible! Ready for fall!

              Ah so happy to live in way up north with the great cold wind coming off the big lake nearly every day! We had maybe two days that it was too hot to play outside according to the heat index but we still got out in the morning.

                  Well, Little Rock just tied a record. Records go back to 1877. Record was set in 1986.....we just hit 112! Heat index is 120!
