I saw a posting about these early today. Did we ever find out an answer to them? Peaked my curiosity because I had never noticed them. Of course I finally figured out that people had been PMing me for awhile also.

are you referring to the ones by the # of the post? those are for infractions if that's what you are referring to. -

If you click on them they are pretty much self-explanatory (assuming I'm looking at the same thing you're referencing).
The "report infraction" button is to report a member that you feel is doing something that's not appropriate on the forum such as bad language, belittling, etc. It looks like each infraction is assigned a point value, and if you get enough points you would face censure of some kind.
The report post seems to be a means of reporting spam and the like.
I'm sure Michael will correct me if I'm wrong

I am thinking you would use this button for bad behavior on the boards (swearing, blatant disregard for others' feelings, etc.), though this board seems to be mostly self-policing as far as that goes.
Personally, I would be loathe to put an infraction on anyone for anything other than the most blatant of bad behavior, since so much of that type of thing is so subjective.Comment
