Hi everyone. I'm new to daycare.com, but am so glad to have found it. I am just starting out and am awaiting my first home inspection. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for a "green" daycare provider? I have two kids, 4 and 6 and am wondering how they will adjust as well. They seem excited, but I'm wondering how long that will last. Thanks!!

One thing I try to do for my kids is keep thier toys and rooms off limits to daycare so that they still get thier own space also. and I try to spend a little special time with each of them throughout the day. For example at naptime I wait till all the other kids are asleep (I make my kids lay down too at first) and then I will let one of them sit on my lap. The other kids dont know it, but my kids get a special quiet moment- Flag

Welcome to a wonderful world!
Day care is hard work and some days you will close the door at the end of the day and wonder if you are insane to do this for a living. Then, you'll remember the hugs and the smiles and realize you have the best job in the world.- Flag
