Ever Feel Like You Just Can't Mentally Prepare For Monday To Come Along?!

We had a super busy weekend, and didn't get to sit still for 2 seconds. Now my house is a mess, and I just don't have the energy to clean it! And I have a new baby starting tomorrow and I am just too worn out to think about it! Ugh. Wish I could just get myself mentally prepared!

I am feeling the same thing! Since I worked on Saturday for a family I am now off track! I feel like I didn't have a day off but I have been off all day today. I still have some cleaning to do but am planning on getting up a little earlier to finish. I wish we could share energy vibes here!

Hope u get some rest and have a good day tomorrow!

I understand. I hate starting Monday with a messy house. It just sets the week off on a bad note.

We just had a birthday dinner party for my dh with 14 people. Now I get to clean up all the mess.

I'm in the same boat. I woke up sat with a migraine. I spent sat on the couch watching tv and napping while my kids and dh played in the pool went to a festival, had a picnic, and took care of me. Today by about supper I cleaned myself up and went to the grocery. I still need to mow, but that will have to wait until tomorrow after work. I was just too wore down.

It must be something in the air! I'm not excited about going to work tomorrow, and I spent all weekend cleaning! I want another weekend to relax!

I'm actually off tomorrow but I know what helps me to be prepared is to have the house totally ready to go. This weekend was the first weekend in a long time that I actually was able to clean my house and be able to play most of it also. It isn't perfect but it looks and feels alot better than usual by this time of the weekend.

I started Friday night by cleaning the childcare room, doing all my laundry, and cleaning up my kitchen. Started Friday afternoon and was done by that evening. Even shampood the childcare room carpet.

Saturday-got up early and hubby took two of our children with him and the other two were already gone. Finished totally cleaning the kitchen (mopping, putting dishes away, cleaning down counter tops), folded all laundry and put away, cleaned the bathroom, and then shampood livingroom carpet. Had this done by noon and then went to play the rest of the day with my family. Picked up a little last night and this morning and it has stayed really nice.

I think if I can keep this pace up and the house looking nice my mood will change and I will not feel so burned out! Keeping my fingers crossed.

I power cleaned for several hours yesterday night so I didn't have to cry when I got up this morning from all the mess. We're so busy on the weekends in the summer that everything seems to pile up. *sigh*

                I am the same sharlan...

my dd's bday was yesterday. everyeone was mainly outside, but there are those little elves who destroy the inside when we're outside.

i can never get caught up on laundry. and with the pool and stuff, there's always a pile of wet towels, bathing suits, clothes, etc.

dh cleaned the kitchen for me yesterday, so it's nice and spotless. But by breakfast it'll be destroyed again. for me, the kitchen is the hardest to keep clean.

i think i may have gotten too much sun yesterday, because i'm zonked. And my side is really bothering me (kidney stones). I feel weak and tired, a little dizzy and my tummy not so great. it was REALLLLY hot out yesterday.

One room at a time dear. Start with the room that you will spend the most time in today - and the room that your parent's will most likely see first.

Everybody has days where there house looks a mess - don't sweat it. The kids won't care.
