    Sunscreen

How do you stop kids from getting sunscreen in the eyes!!!! At least one a day rubs their eyes and then the crying starts which seems to make it worse. It has to be on their face and hands but this is getting ridiculous. Any ideas out their? These are little guys 2-4s.

I don't know that this will stop it completely, but I have a sunscreen stick (looks like a glue stick) that I use for faces. It doesn't run as much as the lotion kind. I also don't put sunscreen on the palms of their hands. I know it doesn't help with the eye rubbing...

Do you have them wear sun hats? I have considered that... maybe then you could keep the sunscreen down a little further from their eyes. I don't know. Sunscreen is not optional, and also a pain. LOL

This is a tear free formula... I love neutrogena. I also use their dry oil spray for the biggers.

Just discovered this stuff and I LOVE it!

Sunscreen...there doesn't seem to be a perfect solution. I used to use the spray stuff, but it is so expensive and we could go thru 2 cans in a day some days. I went back to generic lotion and just make the time to apply it. Hats don't work around here because nobody leaves them on!

I use a stick on faces too. It has a pink label and is for babies. Cant remember the brand, but its a baby formula, so it doesnt sting. I use it on all my kids but bought it for my 9 year old cause she has sensitive eyes, and regular sunscreen burns her eyes.

I rub it between my hands and rub their faces and only do the back of the hands. I'll admit....I'm light on face sunscreen and big on hats that give excellent shade too. I alwasy apply it to their faces but I use it lightly and rub it in really well.

How they are getting it in the eyes is from their hands. They always seem to have to rub their eyes as soon as I put it on! Stick kind on their faces and cream everywhere else. So maybe they will start to figure out not to rub their eyes but it gets very frustrating.

Maybe try getting them to do something silly while it absorbs in like putting their hands on their hips and bending side to side. Just a distraction for a little bit. At the very least theyll be too busy to rub.
