Details about Food Program?

The state of TN allows unlicensed in home daycares to get sponsored with any of the 20 sponsors of the state food program. So I'm going to do it. I have to call the first day I have a child start (Im opening july 18th), to schedule to come out and do a training for 2 hours and everything.

I know I need a fire extinguisher and bulletin board with menus and emergency phone numbers on it..... what else will I need as a requirement by them? I wanna get a jump start on everything I possibly can!

I know the company I'm using also uses Minute Menu Kids to do it all online so I'm really excited about that! I was going to sign up for that anyway but it said to wait and my food program sponsor will give me login info. Is it discounted through them, or free?

My food program uses MM too. It's free for the basics....claims, menu planning etc. If you want to use the extra features, it's a separate charge.
