I have one dcg today, it is our first day of summer vaction. My two children are super happy to be home but are getting annoyed fast. DCG is 18 months old. I feel like all i do is chase her around saying "no" "no dont touch the computer, don't get in the fish tank, don't touch the tv, don't don't don't!!! I know it's horriable...I ahve had her since she was 7 months old and you would think by now she would understand what she can and can't do. She will look right at me as she is doing it, and when I walk over to her she will drop and run. I am sure some of you are thinking, " well pick it up so she can't touch it, " I do, but at the same time everything is blocked, but she still finds a way to get to it, the T.V. issue is driving me mad, we don't have it on, unless my 11 year old asks to watch the history channel (once a day) I dont want to take away their time to chill out either. So andyways the dcg turns it on and off and on and off, the dcd suggested I just unplug it. So I asked what his solution was on the computer issue, "move it to another room"....my computer is central and visable for many reasons. i'm not moving it.....So todays issue, (ive been dealing with it for a few weeks now) is hair pulling. Dcg will pull really hard the hair on my son and daughter, also with the other little dcg that I have. All I can do is put her in a time out, lately though it seems that as soon as she gets out...she pulls hair and goes back in. The Dcd said that he thinks she is to young for a time out, and that I should just say stop. I am at a complete loss of what to do? I have had enough!!! She is in the playpen for a nap, and the first thing did was jump on here for advice
Looking for a fresh cup of coffee, but I need some suggestions...please ladies help me out
