WOW, this is exactly something to put into your daycare book of knowledge! I would have been so tired to start out my day like that. I just ended a 14 hour day and here I am still up checking this site out. LOL

how crazy. she knew exactly what she was doing and would have been a pain every day till forever. its pretty convenient that she didn't sign the contract and wouldn't commit to any time. it leaves the door wide open for her to come and go as she pleased, take up a full time spot will only paying drop in rates and holding "i might be going full time" over your head and hold you hostage with the possibility.

Yep I agree. I just think that it's funny that people think that just because they say they want something they think their going to get it.

Thanks ladies. As for the backbone ... I'm as surprised as anyone else that I was so blunt and forward. I usually don't have a problem bringing issues up that bother me but I have much more of an "kill em with kindness" mentality. I recently made a lot of changes in my daycare and policies and this mom broke a minimum of 5 of them in a 10 minute time span.

I was thinking that the reason why I was so gruff with her was because it was EVERYTHING all at once, all at the same time. I think I had shock overload . I think if she would have slowly over time done one thing then another it would be like the frog in the pot thing. She would have slowly boiled me to death ::. But because she threw me into the pot of boiling water I was quick to jump out.
