    Father's Day Craft Help

I always have great ideas for things, but never know how to bring them together.

    This is what I did...

oh really hard thick cardboard (blue on one side white on the other) i put the kids footprints on the blue side. I then printed out a poem very smallish but still clearly legible that says

    My footprint may be small,
    But gets bigger everyday.
I'm learning how to be like you
By watching you work, Love and Play!
Remember when your days are long and you cannot walk another mile,
    That this little footprint
    Makes it all worthwhile.

My plan is to put the poem either on the reverse side from the footprint and make it into a keychain or string so it can hand on rearview mirror. I prefer the keychain.

But I'm wondering if I should attach the poem on a separate piece and link them together. I want to cut the foot out right along the edges, but i'm worried that once I do that, the poem may be too wide in some spots to fit perfectly. I have one dcb who's foot is so chubby it won't be hard, but the other dcb has a long narrow foot. I don't care much for the 2 pieces together because then it's less of a keychain, kwim?

any ideas would be great! thanks!!!!! ps. I am a bad procrastinator, and i've been meaning to do this all week!!!! of course I am doing it now. I've got footprints done, and poem printed. just gotta figure out how to bring them together.

ok, well since NOBODY has any input, .

what I ended up doing is just gluing the poem on the back of the footprint. then put a string through a hole by the heel. dad's can hang it on rearview mirror if they want, or switch the string for a keychain. I had some keychains i was planning on using, and cannot for the life of me find them. oye! this will work.
