    Crafts

DOes anyone want to share an easy craft project with us??
I think it would be neat for us to share different, easy craft ideas-
Another one I do is frosting cont. banks- Just take a frosting cont. take off label, and make a slit for money on the lid. I have the kids put their name and some glue some fun things, foam stickers, names and jewels, or whatever to the outside. Then when they are all done I throw in 5 pennies in each one, to get everyone started. I always do these in the winter when we are cooped up, something fun, easy and something you can keep from home!!

One we did not all that long ago was make ice cream out of clean freshly fallen snow. Here's what I did-

1 cup milk 1/2 tsp vanilla (or other artificial flavoring) 1/2 cup sugar

Stir these three ingredients together until the sugar is dissolved.

Slowly add the snow (4 to 5 cups) to your mixture, stirring constantly, until it is as thick as ice cream! Eat up!

Makes enough for 1 to 2 children depending on how old they are, and it counts towards a milk serving at snack time.
Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back.

We have also done malts in ziploc bags. Take a scoop or a couple of scoops of ice cream, put in choc. syrup and zip up! I have the kids squash all the ice cream up with the syrup and then when all done they can eat it as a snack!! They really enjoyed this!!!
