I use a clean garden hose attachment fertilizer sprayer (unused) filled with Q128 and set up all of my PNP's on the back deck with the mats laid over the railing.

I hose them down well and allow to air dry. Easy Peasy.

It rinses, deodorizes (smells like lemon soap) and disinfects all at once.

I use the garden hose and Clorox Clean Up. Leave it outside to dry and once completely dry I take commercial sanitizer to it.

I wanted to clean mine too! I'm glad you asked this question. I was afraid to clean them in case it made them fall apart. Maybe I'll do it on Friday night and then if something happens, I can replace one or two of them by Monday.

I use a scrub brush, antibacterial spray and garden hose. I wash it once a week or if an accident
              occurs (sick too)

What do you do on a regular basis year round....we'd never be able to use the hose half the year because of freezing temps.

I put Q128 in spray bottle and the PNP in the shower stall. I spray it down well, allow it to sit for a few minutes then rinse with handheld shower head.

It justs takes longer to rinse and dry.

I do alot of preventative sheeting with puppy pads under the sleep sheets in winter and with spit-up prone infants to cut down on cleaning time.

A few months back I had a 16 mo old get her diaper off, smear poop everywhere in the pack n play and on herself. Even though I had a sheet over the bottom mat, it still got on the mat. So, I took the pack in play outside and hosed and scrubbed it off. Disgusting. After the bottom mat dried, I noticed it had warped because it is made of that fiberboard that is not waterproof. I have since taken all my pack in play mats and covered them with a shower curtain to prevent getting ruined in the future. I always encase the mat in a sheet, just like most do with a a crib mattress....mattress protector then sheet.

My husband used simple green spray over the packs n play and leave for a few mins then he used garden hose with pressure spray to wash off. Leave it out side for dry. It smells so good and very clean like brand new over again.

I read it. This would not properly clean some of the poop messes I have had to clean out of a pack in play. And to properly clean bad poop or vomit messes, you seriously need to spray down in the shower or with a hose the mat and possible the top edges and sides. And if you spray the mat, at least with mine, they warp because they are made of particle board that is not waterproof.

                              simple green d????
our basement flooded (sewer backup too) on thursday. Friday insurance guy came out, and advised us to get benefect, but i haven't been able to find it anywhere. So we bought simple green D which has the same chemical in it, so i imagine it'll work the same for the basement. But that's a great idea for the pnp.
