Thanks for the support! I assummed many of my families would be gone doing things anyway and I was right. Only the one family "needs" care that day. Gma will be here anyway so it's no big deal for them really, that mom just likes to complain about everything anyway.

I am only closed on the 4th. If it were to fall on a weekend I would close during the week though (if a holiday-except Easter- falls on a Sunday I observe it on Monday etc, most State agencies here and others do that.)

Any holiday that lands on a Saturday is taken the Friday before. Any holiday that lands on a Sunday is taken Monday.

That's usually how business do it so I do it the same.
