I go tanning too. I'm completely addicted to all the different lotions. I go out w/my bff every week. We laugh histerically and have a great time. I go out to lunch and shop w/my kids every Sat. When my husband has the weekend off we go out to dinner and have drinks.

During daycare naptime I work out, just enough to keep me strong and healthy. I also watch a tv show while the kids sleep.

I spend a lot of time w/my kids & other ppls kids so I make sure and get my "me" time in!

Sun, warm weather...........what's that? I'm in SoCal and our pool hasn't warmed up enough to swim in yet!

I run and exercise in the am (before the fam is awake except Sundays), and do road races when I can.

I have Sushi with a friend the first Tues of the month, and we see my parents and sister a lot of weekends, and they babysit so I can do things sometimes, or go out with hubby.

On random Friday nights I can (after girls in bed) spend time with girlfriends.

SO important- feel rejuvenated after some fun adult time! And try to do fun things with the girls, because I feel like I don't get 'quality' time with them each day during DC hours....

I also like my guilty pleasure TV, too, when the girls are in bed.

Once a week my sisters come over after all our kids are in bed and we knit and watch Doctor Who and eat yummies.

On another night, my DH and I play Civilization 4 online with my brother in law, BIL's bro, and a friend of ours. My sister will be joining us in that soon.

My DH and I have made Sundays pretty sacred--we try to have all the housework and most of the errands done so we can just relax and do whatever we want that's FUN as a family.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

In the summer time I mow the lawn. LOL!! No, seriously...we have a 3 acre lawn and I push mow it. I LOVE mowing!! It is uninterrupted bliss! When I want to get away from it all , my DH and I own a houseboat and we take it out and park on an island on the lake near our house and pretend we are no where near civilization.

In the winter I scrapbook...my DD moved away to college so I gained my very own crafting room!! or my DH and I snowmobile.

I am fortunate to live 5 mins from the finest white sand beach in the world. Every saturday morning I ride my bike to the beach and build sand castles. I make massively huge castles, so it usually attracts a crowd. I wish I could figure out a way to make money building sand castles. Hmmmm. Maybe the condos will hire me to do a "castle clinic"? Lol!!!

When I was a kid some folks put out sun hats and tourists tossed money in them.

The trick is to toss a couple in yourself to start the balll rolling.

Ah, tourist season in Florida, hours of people watching entertainment ....::::::

That's a good idea! Maybe a sign that says "all donations to benefit sand and water play at local preschool" ! Lol!!!

Smart a$$!! No, I can't mow at naptime...that would require me to drive 5 miles home and leave the dck's unattended! LOL!!:: ....and yes, it is a great work out. I am one of those people who cannot sit still and relax. So mowing is a great thing to do since it is mindless and somehow in a weird way, I find that sort of calming. My DH thinks it is because of the nature of my job (you know, not really being able to get any 1 thing done while doing 20 things at once!)

I have Rockband night with a couple friends every Friday night. We get some wine and appetizers and play and laugh together. It's a great stress reliever.

I also get out in the evenings when the weather permits with the same group of ladies for walks/hikes/runs/aquafit ... anything to get us active really.
