    My screamer

Found this forum when google searching on how to deal with screaming baby. OMG he just turned 3 months old and this child screams and screams. I know it is because he is over tired but he fights it tooth and nail and only falls asleep and stays asleep if I am holding him. driving me nuts and it has been a month and a half of this so far. he causes my other baby who is only 3 1/2 weeks older into major distress and is messing up her feeding and sleep schedule. I know he can be happy cause as soon as it looks like i am about to pick him up he gets a crap eating grin like yeah i knew you would give in. longest he stays content without being held is 5-10 min. back belly bouncy chair swing car seat vibraty chair same thing omg going insane and my husband is po'd and my boys are getting out for summer vacation tomorrow soo yeah they high tail it out of the house soon as they see this boys mom pull up in the drive. they get tired of hearing him. and it is the ear shattering work your last nerve scream that even earplugs do not help.

ok vent done for now yeah stepped away from screaming to type this to try and keep sane.

do you have to keep him? 6 weeks with no progress so its probably going to be a long time for him to adjust or worse, just his personality and it may be like this permanently.

      Welcome!!
I have one like this, and I have in the past as well. UGHH!!!
Grandma came in the door the other day for pick up, and said the 4 month old baby, just fell asleep on her, for 2 hrs. and she just held her, she didn't want her to wake up, putting her in crib. OMG!!! I have a feeling the parents do this as well, hold her alot!!
I only have her 2 more days, thank God!!
The Mom has decided she is going to be a stay at home Mom and her hrs. at her job, were 2-3 days on 2nd shift, so she would only be here for about 3-4 hrs. a day. They were also paying for 4 days that were contracted. I really think this had something to do with it as well.
      Good luck to you!!!
I have had ones in the past, that were very colicky, scream all day, and ones that had severe seperation anxiety. I always gave it a fair shake at it, and tried to see if they would get used to it here, all but 1 never did, after a good month or more!!
