    My first screamer....

LMBO!! I always thought other people were exaggerating when they said they had a screamer.

I guess it's my turn for a "scream no matter what you do to fix it" kid.

Fun! I don't have one of those thankfully, so I don't know the stress of it all. I can only imagine. Enjoy!

I feel your pain. right now my screamer is my DOG. Yes, my dog. I do not want my dogs with the DCKs so they are locked in my office. My 1 year old male cries like you would NOT believe, ALL DAY. This is new to him so I hope it subsides but OMG. It's like nails on chalkboard, only LOUDER

She's 11 months, and according to her mom, she screams non stop at home too. (this is day two, so I haven't had a chance to try too many things)

They said they are going to try "Babywise" <--YIKES. Right now, they are doing "cry it out" at bedtime, and she asked me to do the same thing. Which I will as of this afternoon. But, right now, she's asleep in a mei tai on my back. I just can't let her scream all morning and upset the other kids.

And I thought everyone else was exaggerating when they said they had these babies who just rolled around happily playing with toys most of the day and only cried when they needed something--until I got one of my own!

              Good luck.

i had one of those before too! i wish you lots of patients.
the girl i had screamed unless i was touching her. i worked with her every day for months before she would only scream if she couldn't see me. then eventually she grew out of it and didn't want me around at all it was just too funny at that point

Every daycare providers worst nightmare. I've only had two, quite happy when both left.

Oh This JUST happened to me yesterday for the first time in YEARS!!!! However I lucked out, this little fella is just a drop in and after yesterday (he's never been away from Mommy) I am thinking he won't come back. I think Mom had a harder time letting him come...and he screeched the whole morning, it really puts the other kids in a bad situation too, they were so unhappy.
