A'm I Crazy??

I will be full with 8 starting next week. All 2-5 year olds. I had 4 and went to 6 kids 2 weeks ago and now I have a set of 3y old twins starting Monday.

It will only be 8 two days and then 6 all the others.

I am licensed for 10 on my own. I will tell you, for me, the days I have 8 I am stressed! I find 6 to be a comfortable group, once it starts going over that, it gets to be to much. In the afternoons when I am at capacity with the SA kids it is nearly unbearable. I have done it to myself as I can't tell anyone no. Once summer is over, I will have 6 consistently throughout the day with a few days of the week only having 3. I can't wait. They money is great with more, but it is truly more work, stress, and frustration. For me anyway.

I do have one leaving in the fall and my 8y and 6.5y olds are helping me during the summer so I think I'll be okay. I figure then in fall it will be one day of 7 and then the rest 5/6. Luckily this summer so we will be outside a ton.

I already told my husband we might want to buy a few cases of wine because I maybe having a glass every night...

If you can do it financially on a regular basis on the 6, why not just hire a teenager to help for the summer while you are so full?

I normally run around 8 and I think I like it better than days I have 4 because they seem to enjoy having a group of friends to play with and some of them will break off to small groups and they seem to play better with a few more and if you can be outside a lot that is much easier they will eat and sleep good for you to.
