Water Temp

What do you use to get the proper temperature of your water hand washing? I thought I'd use a regular kids thermometer but I opened my first aid kits to find out that they both don't work! Good thing I checked - my inspection is TUESDAY!

Meat thermometer. Our licensor uses that when the test. Turn water on for a few min, lettting it get HOT and stick the thermometer in and see what it says. Ours even offered to leave one for me if I didnt have one to check.

My husband suggested the same thing. Ours is too hot but now we cant find where to turn it down on the water heater.
