The forgotten sleeping child dream is the worst!! It always plays out that a parent was late and grabbed the toddler then hurried home.
It never fails in this dream I also had to leave the house in a rush and get that horrible phone call that their baby is missing!!! I try to rush back home but the car is just sooooo slow, I hear the forgotten infant in her crib magically from "miles away", but never get there before waking up in a cold sweat....
Ugh, I hate that dream.
I do hear that phantom baby from time to time as well, especially when I am on vacation.... It is always good for a jolt, isn't it?
