Happy Child Care Provider Appreciation Day

I hope everyone has an amazing day. It's 10 am here, I've finished my 5th load of laundry, it's folded and put away. My house is company ready and I'm finishing up getting ready for the day. I've had an awesome morning blaring country music, cleaning, and tossing toys for the dog. Lol

Happy Childcare Appreciation Day!!
I had this written on my monthly newsletter and on my activity calendar. I haven't heard a one thank you, card or anything. I also had Teacher Appreciation day on it as well. I have 4 teachers with one child here from each family. I told them Happy Teacher Appreciation to them. I guess maybe I will hear about it at pickup, but I wouldn't count on it!!! Happy day to us all!!!

Yes I have the day off. =-) Ive recieved so many well wishes, and special memories posted to my FB wall the past few days from dc parents, past daycare parents, and even daycare grandparents. I feel appreciated today.

It seems that God is smiling down on me this morning! My usually hard-to-manage boy is doing wonderful today; and so are the rest! We had an amazing morning playing outside, and right now they are cleaning up like little soldiers! I hope I didn't just jinx myself, but so far is a GREAT day!!

I just want to know how in the heck you got through 5 loads of laundry by 10am. My machine takes at least 90 minutes to wash one load!

I always get up at 430. Lol. And I have a front loader. A cycle is 52 minutes. A couple loads, my sons jerseys, his dress shirts, are gentle quick cycle. 23 min.

Right back at ya Laundrymom! I didn't even know there was a Provider appreciation day until I came to this forum. I don't expect anything from my DCP.

I hope the lucky ones who have courteous clients get a thank u today. If not I thank u for taking care of all these children. Providers play a very important part in a child life and it should be recognized so I'm with Laundry Mom in hopes u all have a great day!
