Surprise Afternoon Off!

Out of the blue, without notice, like a gift from the heavens.....I got the afternoon off!....and it was actually sunny for once!!!:: (Pacific NW humor :

I had a couple of early pickups so instead of having to rush from here to there with my own kids after pickup I actually had 3 entire hours to myself!!! .....and then leisurely got my own kids to their after school events.

That is awesome!!! It so rarely happens. I'm from the PNW too, so I totally got the weather reference. Wasn't today gorgeous???? Supposed to have another one middle of next week.

Nice!!! I have tomorrow off. It's half a surprise; one dcb is off and the only other kid I am supposed to have on Fridays, I asked her parents to get her into their back-up care for the day. DD is going to my sister's for a sleepover tonight, and DH and I have tomorrow off together...it's our anniversary and I can't wait for a whole day of just quiet, uninterrupted time together with him.
