    Shaving Crayons

I have came acrpss many projects that call for "shaved" crayons. Does anybody have any good tips on shaving these things? It seems that it would take a very long time to grate them on a hand held cheese grater. I would love to get a few tips.

The old Crayon boxes had sharpeners and the shavings used to just be thrown away or they got everywhere....

        I agree with Michael

Crayola makes a crayon maker so you can melt and make your own crayons....custom colors...cool!
