This Is What I Call A Low-Key Day...

only two dcks today: one dcb fell asleep on the floor, the other is coughing a lot and running at less than half his usual speed and volume. I finally turned on a Sesame Street for them...totally unusual but no one feels well today. No fevers, nothing obviously wrong that would be grounds for exclusion.

The mom of the boy who is coughing called and said he was miserable yesterday and woke up screaming a couple times during the night, so she said that if he seems any worse that I should call her and she'll come right over to get him.

The dcb who is asleep now tried to come in clutching his mom's fancy schmany iPod. She said he could keep it and I could grab it the first time he let it go. I said, "Um, no, I"m not taking that responsibility" and I reached out to pry it out his hands. He threw a fit, but mom helped me and left with her very expensive electronic.

Blah. I'm taking the opportunity to do a bunch of cleaning and organizing...and oddly, no one is causing chaos the second my back is turned.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Only 2 for me too (well, not counting my own baby). DCG 3yo got here at 6:30am and will be picked up by 4:00pm and DCB 22mo just got here at 8:00am and will get picked up by 5:00pm. They are both very mellow kids and playing quietly with our new playschool farm set and was told to "go away" when I went over to play with them ::. Oh well, more baby time for me
