Has Anyone Had Their Royal Tea?

We made tiaras and had a Princess Tea Party. My DCK's could have cared less. Disappointed.

this is why I did not play anything for the kidos. They don't appreciate it also when the parents came this morning I said did you wake up early watching the Royal wedding. Respond no.

We made our crowns full of jewels this morning and will be having cupcakes this afternoon for snack (with fruit on the side). I only have two girls who are both 20mo. I have 6 boys 3-4yrs. I didnt get to do as much as I wanted bc the boys really are not into it....but we did a little and I have had my crown on ALL day

We had tea and I make scones from scratch this morning so we had those too. I had DVR'd the wedding so we watched the important parts (the marching bands, William's and Catherine's arrival, the exit in the carriage with all the guards and soldiers and the kiss) the my kids, even my son LOVED it!

Then we went outside and made crowns with paint and glue and glitter and sequins. Had a blast!

Well I was planning on everyone coming in princess gear and making a whole day of it, but my daycare family cancelled on me for the day. Not a big deal, except my own DD5 was really excited about this! So I got on my old ball gown, dug out my tiara from my wedding, curled my hair, and became a princess right along side her!

We sat down and watched the wedding on youtube streamed to our TV at lunch time and she watched the ENTIRE thing with me! Totally worth it! It was nice to have some mommy/daughter time with my little princess
