    Bean bag chairs?

Are bean bag chairs more trouble than they're worth?

I had a few cloth ones for years! Mine had a zipper so I would dump the stuffing out in a garbage bag and tie a knot. Then toss the cover in the washer & dryer. To refill cut a hole in the bottom corner of the garbage bag and pour it all back in and zip it up. No problems until the stuffing got too old.

I'm not a big fan of bean bag chairs, but might get two since they're reasonably priced. I would almost rather purchase the foam chairs because it's easier to wash covers when it's foam instead of tiny tiny beads that want to stick to everything. When I was at IKEA last week I noticed they sell the bag and then a bag of the filling separately, .....at least you know you can buy the filler separately. Just a funny thought to put it together yourself. As a child I had one and thought it was a little magical chair how it would change shape when I sat on it.

Personally, I think they're a pain... unless you're willing to spend a fortune on a good quality one... and even then, I just prefer oversized, brightly colored floor cushions!

Really awesome tip for washing/refilling from the pp, though!

Lol - that's what I'm afraid of! I'm opening in a little over a month, and on a budget. I'm thinking about a few low cost items

The bean bags I had with a zipper, the zipper wasn't able to slide open easily, it didn't have the usual zipper handle so to speak. U had to put a paperclip or pin through the little hole and use that as the zipper handle so it kinda locks closed once zipped.
