Hi! I have been doing research for our company about bleach vs. other disinfectants. We are now providing Puregreen 24 as a disinfectant and deodorizer. This product does not only kill just about every organism under the sun, but it is safe to use on toys and counter tops. No need to even rinse! It has no dangerous ingredients, just citric acid and silver ions! You can order it from us at Zoetek Medical or any other distributor on line. Just saying...no more bad chemicals at my house!
Disinfectant vs. Bleach

I wish that I could use it, however I have to use what the stae has approved in order for me to disinfect my house and toys. They require that i use a bleach to water solution. I wish I didnt have to, but I like my business so for now I just plan to follow the rules to keep it....- Flag

This post seems more like a marketing advertisement. There are many places you can get the product, including it's original web site and some places carry it locally if you call licensing and ask if they now of anyone using it or selling it. It's approved (so I've heard, never checked myself), but it's also expensive. For the time being, I'm completely happy using bleach water mixture until my income goes up.- Flag

I don't think we have a choice. We have to use bleach for certain aspects of our cleaning.- Flag

My state also requires bleach and water. I would love to be able to use something else, but it is non-negotiable.
I have a lady who repeatedly calls me to "offer her disinfecting product that is a safe alternative to bleach." She tells me all about all of the other providers who use it, etc. When I tell her that I can't use it and neither should other providers in this state, she always replies, "but I have a medical journal article that states that it's safe to use in child care facilities and hospitals." No matter how many times I tell her that I will consider her product when her medical journal article starts writing the laws in this state, she just keeps calling back. It's really annoying and I've been known to hang up on her.
Bottom line: I would LOVE to be able to use something else. Bleach is the only harmful/toxic cleaning product I keep in my house and I would love to get rid of it and provide a safer alternative. However, I have no choice in this matter and would prefer to follow the law and keep the dang stuff in my house.- Flag

We used some sort of "green" stuff and I swear all it was was water! It did NOTHING!
Diluted bleach solution does the trick where I work.- Flag

On my state website, you can fill out a form to have another disenfectant approved........and the ones with silver are great, I bought a Case of SpectraSan24.........super awesome stuff, and it is completly odorless and safe, however, I have used so much bleach in my house, and the stuff has a reaction with it, and it puts out a smelly feet smell.....so I had to stop using it, I called the company, and said hey its supposed to be odorless, and she said, it must put off a scent when it hits bleach..............so bottom line, I went back to bleach, I much prefer that smell.............actually I love it, I love having my house smell bleachy clean..- Flag
