Update On The 3 Year Old Tantrum Thrower

She took a nice long nap. After she had been up for a 1/2 hour she was wrapping a piece of elastic from her sock around her finger. I asked her to please stop. Not 2 minutes later she wrapped it really tight around her finger so I got the scissors and cut the elastic off. She started crying and screaming, so I started singing the crying song nannyde posted. You should of seen the look on her face it was priceless. She stopped crying and I stopped singing. She started up again and I did it again. The third time I did it she quit crying and went on playing. I wish I would of asked for advice earlier cause the silence was music to my ears. Thanks you nannyde, I bow down to you!!!
