I have three more days of work, then the next TEN days off! woo hoo! I am SOOO looking forward to getting some house projects done. Can't wait to put all of my child care stuff away for a while!

I don't have vacation coming up
I have one of week maternity leave somewhere in May/June though...
I am contemplating taking some time off at the end of June for a gaming convention I go to with DH every year. I had been thinking that I would have to miss it this year 'cause of daycare and the maternity leave, but I really don't want to...Hee hee! Look, I have a signature! -

I have the same as you! I go by my kids school schedule and we have spring recess!! YEAH!! 2 days left after today!!

Lucky you! Almost two weeks in August for going to Destin Florida but we were supposed to go on vacation in July. My parents booked in August because of my brother who can take vacation from Army.

Good Friday off, so a 3 day weekend in April. I take Thurs & Fri before Memorial Day, so a 5 day weekend in May, my dd graduates in June so I have a 4 day weekend planned there then a week off in July.
I like to space my days off so I have something to look forward to,

Because I termed one dck and her last day is tomorrow (WOOFRIGGINWHOO!!) and my one dck changed a day I happen to have Fri-Tues off coming up (5 whole days!) starting this friday, then I have two dck next wed and one thursday before we take a "vacation" (a term I use loosley) to go home and visit family for the holiday break. Its only going to be 5 days then too but we have to drive a day there (it takes 7hrs through idiot Ohio and up to upstate NY) and then are always booked solid seeing family and then another fun drive home on Tuesday.
We havent been home since Thanksgiving so we figured we were due. With any luck the weather will at least be nice (its Buffalo though, itll probably snow) and I can pick up some good NY state wine ( @ good wine and NY state in the same sentence) and then take the ride home as a time to unwind as El Hub does the driving when we go together.
I never have set vacations but I do let everyone know at contract signing that I do take time off and give 4 weeks notice so they too can plan ahead. Lucky for me my one dcm is a teacher and has a lot of time off too and the other dcm is on a part time schedule so I havent had any complaints. I must admit, its been REALLY REALLY nice that I can say I need time of on this date and get it. Coming from corporate world it was always first come first serve."Being a parent is wanting to hug and strangle your kid at the same time".Comment

I have a maternity leave coming up and delivering a child is a vacation compared to what these kids and parents put me thru sometimes.Comment

I have Good Friday off because no one needs me that day so lucky me! Then I have Memorial Day off and then no vacation until the 4th of July when I take the full week off and LIVE on the lake.

I am going to see my parents for the first time in years for easter... Well my parents don't celebrate easter in their country, but I will celebrate it... I am soooooooo excited. But I only get 4 days, then back to the grind. BOOOOOO
I plan all of my vacations over the weekends with taking only a thursday or friday off if necessary. I think I have only done it twice in all my years....Comment

A 11 Day road trip to Utah and back the end of June to July!!
