hemp is a great source of protein, omegas, etc!!!!!!!

Honestly, we are trying to eat healthier, but I love my crap foods, and my motto is "you only live once, might as well enjoy it!" even if my life is short, i'd rather go out knowing I enjoyed everything .

besides, I never want to be old

My dad made a remark one time when we were visiting him, and I can't remember exactly what it is, but he told us to shut up, because all his life he was told this was good to eat, that was bad to eat, and they reversed it again now, so he said screw em all, he'll eat what he wants for the last few years of his life and he will enjoy them. (he had a heart attack while having gall bladder surgery) but he's got an incredibly strong and healthy heart for his age, and he has been a smoker for 50 years.

My mom always told me...if you couldn't make it with the ingredients listed on the back, you shouldn't be eating it.

My family/daycare doesn't really eat processed foods. We have hotdogs from our meat market (not that they are SUPER good for you) and the occasional frozen pizza (or papa murpheys) but most of our stuff is pretty pure...my vice - Velveeta! How does anyone live without it?! I NEED it...it melts so pretty!!

Ps - kiddos love making ziplock back icecream and it reminds eveyone what icecream should taste like!
what is ziplock bag icecream? please tell!!!!!

Velveeta- ew () i use it on macaroni once in a blue moon. I don't like it though, i have 2 boxes in my fridge my dad brought back from the states. it's ridiculously expensive here in canada.

I just wanted to mention...I WILL NEVER GIVE UP CHOCOLATE, NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER!

oh, and I go through caffeine withdrawal if I don't have any. I HAVE to have at least 1 morning coffee, and I used to go through slurpee withdrawal (had one every night before bed) but I no longer do. When we quit smoking (dh and I) everything we used to love makes us sick now. So barely any more slurpees.

Yum Velveeta!! My mom always used it when we were growing up, but as an adult I just recently re-found it. I know it's soooo bad for you, but I love it!! I love it melted with a can of tomatoes/chili peppers to dip tortilla chips in! (Can you tell I'm dieting?? ). I also use it to make homemade mac n cheese.

I'd love to know what ziploc ice cream is too!

I USED to eat Velveeta too, but have since stopped and learned to enjoy other cheeses.... I think my main problem is that I can't get over the fact that it is called "cheese" which is a dairy product, which usually needs to be refrigerated and Velveeta is sold on the shelf....kinda gives it that "ick" factor....

Like those Hersey Chocolate Milk drink boxes...why are they on the shelves and NOT the cooler area!?!?

I just can't seem to get past that part....makes me wonder what exactly they put in those things to make shelf life a possibilty..kwim?
