    I've Completely Lost My Voice

I have all my dcks tomorrow plus my two girls and I have completely lost my voice. What can I do? I can barely whisper right now and don't know how I'll pull it off tomorrow.

    Any advice?

Honestly, I might consider closing. Its not safe for you to be without a voice. How can you manage with only speaking in a whisper. I don't know....this wouldn't work for us. I have a good size back yard so I know that I wouldn't be able to take the kids outside and keep control of everyone without a voice. Is there anyone that can help for the day?

Boil several bay leaves and breath in the vapors for several minutes.

I had this happen to me for a few days last week. I did a lot of clapping when I needed everyone's attention and then whispered what I had to say. When all of the dc kids kept saying "What???!!!" then ds4 would translate We also practiced our signing too! I had the kids do a lot of extra singing and dancing to music so that I could save my voice.

I think that as long as you are indoors you won't have to worry about many safety issues. If you are feeling fine otherwise and have no oter symptoms, I would stay open. Don't know the age of the kids you have in care but you could use this time to teach/practice signlanguage, play charades, and do extra quiet activities like independent reading and puzzles and stuff.

If u can close if ur like me and can't then get a whistle

I used 1 (coaches type whistle) when I had older kids and they carried on and couldnt hear me yelling outside that it was time to go in.
