    Contracted Hours

for those of you that work with contracted hours, how do you have it worded in PHB or Contract?

I have something along the lines of "My hours of operation are from 6am to 6pm but those are not necessary the hours that will be allocated to bring your child. A set window of hours will be allocated for your child based on the providers availability and your schedule needs which will become your "contracted hours". Your child will only be accepted during these contracted hours"

I don't have that in my policies. I just have a rate schedule that increases when they go over nine hours and when they are later than 3:00 p.m. They don't ask about hours of the other kids. When there is money attached to the specific hours they are just concerned about their own fees.

This is my only reference to it: Our hours of operation vary depending upon the work and travel schedules of our existing clients. We will consider all work schedules from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. We do not currently offer evening or weekend care but would consider evening care should the schedule work with our current children, staff, and our family. Please feel free to discuss any of your Monday through Friday scheduling needs.
