    Wish Me Luck!!!

Just scheduled an interview for tomorrow night--two kids!! That would neatly solve a bunch of problems! The ages are right, the hours and days are right...now if only they find the price to be right, I'll be thrilled beyond belief! (Assuming I like them/they like me, etc, etc)

Yeah, I've never had sibs before, not that I'm opposed but just hasn't come up. I don't think I'm going to do a sib discount though...I need more money way too badly.

Good luck to you! Siblings are nice to have but they also can be more difficult. I agree with not offering a discount. I did and am regretting it now.

I don't do discounts either. They are getting a 'discount' in gas money not driving to 2 different places. It costs you the same to run your program regardless of if your kids are related somehow.

I have had sib groups in the past and loved them. The only thing I did wrong was to not charge for sick days and every time one was sick they both stayed home. DUH! That was my first year though so I learned my lesson. Make sure you either charge for sick days or put a limit on their sick days. I give 5 "free" days per year and then they pay. Good luck!
I you think my hands are full you should see my heart!

I have 3 sib groups now. And when asked about discount I said well I don't normally but since you are a good client and follow all my policies I will. How about I charge you the same rate for both kids. ??? And don't charge you the current rate for new enrolled kids? That saves you 20 a week. She smiled and said Thankyou.

Now I did not tell her that sibs get rate of current child but she feels great that I'm not charging her the rate for new kids. I feel great that I get full rate from each child in the fam. Win Win

I gave a sibling discount and regret it. I gave way too much of a discount. I wish I never did it. Congrats on your interview I hope they are a good fit for your program.
